Osceola High School (Florida) junior wrestler Fox Baldwin set a national record for pins Wednesday night with his 243rd, which topped his brother Pete's record of 242 career pins.

Baldwin's record-setting pin came in 48 second and you can see the video by clicking here.

Next-up on Baldwin's to-do list?

Break his brother Pete's record for career victories which stands at 324.  Fox is three-wins away from that mark and is expected to set a new national record this weekend.

Fox is currently ranked #8 in the country at 152 by the Amateur Wrestling News.  He's a three-time Florida state champ.

Alabama Senior Break's U.S. Softball Home Run Record

by Jeff Fisher
Host, NHSCA Sports Hour

Congratulations to Pisgah High School's Shelby Holley for breaking the national high school record for career home runs.

Holley hit her 62nd career homer today in a game against Sylvania.  The surprising thing is that Holley passed another former Pisgah Eagle, Holly Currie, who clubbed 61 round-trippers during her career.

Currie, who went on to play at Auburn, set the previous record between 2000 and 2003.

Holley also set the national record for homers in a season with 25.

One of America's Top High School Hurdlers on today's NHSCA Sports Hour

by Jeff Fisher
Host, NHSCA Sports Hour

I love the spring-time sports season, because it always Trish and myself to introduce our listeners to coaches and athletes outside of the the biggies like football and basketball.

That's the case today when we'll introduce America to Jonathan Cabral from Agoura High School, outside of Los Angeles.

Last week, Cabral set the best times so far for the 2011 season in the 110- and 300-meter hurdles at the Arcadia Invitational, a well-respected track-and-field meet in Southern California.  Cabral, who is a University of Oregon recruit and the defending state champ in both events, won the 110 in an invitational-record time of 13.43.

Below is video from the 110 hurdles at Arcadia...

Jonathan will be our guest on today's show around 6:40 PM EST.
