After 71 straight wins, top-ranked St. Benedict's Prep's (New Jersey) streak came to an end Tuesday with a 1-0 loss in overtime to Salesianum (Delaware), which is ranked in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America Top 25.

The most amazing things about the SBP streak is it began after a 1-0 loss to Salesianum on October 2, 2010.  The streak goes down as the third longest all-time in boys' high school soccer history.

On Thursday's NHSCA Sports Hour presented by the National High School Coaches Association, Trinity Catholic High School (St. Louis, Missouri) boys' and girls' soccer coach Vince Drake, who was the 2013 NHSCA National Girls' Soccer Coach of the Year, will join me to talk about his nearly five decades coaching high school soccer.

Drake, who is the only coach in America to win over 1,000 games as a boys and girls coach, entered the 2013 season fifth on the all-time boys' soccer wins list.  What's amazing is three of the top five in all-time victories are from the St. Louis area.

At the top of the list is Terry Michler of Christian Brothers College High School who began the year with 871 victories. Greg Vitello of DeSmet Jesuit checked-in at #4 with 750 wins, followed by Drake with 730.

As you can see below, eight of the Top 10 in wins are still active.

1. Terry Michler (Christian Brothers College, Missouri) 871
2. Miller Bugliari (Pingry School, New Jersey) 781
3. Gene Chyzowych (Columbia, New Jersey) 757
4. Greg Vitello (DeSmet, Missouri) 750
5. Vince Drake (Trinity Catholic, Missouri) 730
6. Paul Rose (Jesuit, California) 682
*7. Brian Gibney (Shawnee, New Jersey) 665
8. Don Brock (Needham, Massachusetts) 664
*9. Allen Baker (Klein, Texas) 656
10. George Todt (Archbishop Ryan, Pennsylvania) 649
