Tonight's show with boys' basketball coaches Bob Hurley (St. Anthony HS - NJ) and Jack Curran (Archbishop Molloy HS - NYC) was like having a history book talk to our listeners.
Both coaches were very gracious to talk about things they have learned in their combined 90-plus years of coaching.
The most interesting thing that both men said is they are proud of their decision to stay in the high school game.
I applaud them both, because those decisions made a HUGE impact on thousands of young men.
In the meantime, here's a clip from earlier this month when Coach Hurley won his 1,000th game.
